The Stone Oak Safety and Security Committee (Stone Oak Patrol), working to fulfill its mission to communicate and proactively drive safety and security throughout the Stone Oak Community, has announced a significant addition to the Stone Oak website, coming soon. 
 
The new website additions will likely include updates on committee actions, details of recent security incidents, timely 'S&S' committee recommendations, connections to social media groups, and pathways to local safety services with clear delineations between emergency and non-emergency resources. And, while Stone Oak Patrol encourages residents to reach out to local authorities for assistance, the new website section will also include a method for reporting and communicating facts regarding incidents within the Stone Oak community. 

 

Although calling 911 is always the first step, residents will soon have the option to confidentially report any suspicious or damaging activity and expect prompt engagement with a S&S committee member.  Those with video or photos of trespassers, acts of theft and vandalism or the like, will be able to forward those recordings or images to the committee for review and communications to the broader community. If beneficial, a S&S committee member will assist, to the extent possible, to ensure that local authorities take necessary actions for resolution.  
 
While the new website pages are being created, the S&S committee welcomes its residents to suggest the kinds of information they would like to see in the new Safety and Security section.
